‘I know such skills are not possible in the real world. Imagine yourself dressed up in a mask or costume where you are performing community service in your neighbourhood. What would be your superpower? Let me give you a brief about the different types of superpowers’

• Super strength is where you can exhibit strength far beyond that of an ordinary human.

But ultimately,at present,on the first case I would like to ask would it be possible? The inner me replies loudly,YES! Why not? It may be,in fact it can be possible that the world can be changed for better. In my opinion I would want eminence as my super power,so I can bring about peace and harmony. Peace and harmony not in the society,but also in the minds of people. So,that ultimately circles up to the peace and harmony in society. The society today needs proper treatment. It is ailing with problems like riots and terrorism. If peace prevails in the minds of people,they can help make the world a better place. All that the world needs now is to be a place filled with harmony. So that it can survive on its own.

The world we live in has two types of people— the kind who are so well-off that they can afford any luxury they want,live in posh mansions,drive the meanest vehicles and consume their favourite eatables. At first I thought I would want a superpower that will make me run fast,like the Flash,but then I thought of all these great men who made it big without having to run fast. Introduction

When a person possesses a “superpower,” it means that they have an additional skill separate from the rest of the human population. Many people around the world dream of having a superpower. Some wish to use it to change the world for the better, while others may only dream of evil things that they could do with that power. The superpower I would choose for myself is the ability to see through opaque objects. If I possessed this power, I would use it purely for good. 

Benefits of seeing through opaque objects

There are all sorts of situations where situations get out of hand but could be saved if one could see through opaque objects. When buildings or caves collapse, the process of evacuation can be arduous, particularly locating people trapped under rubble. The process is often dangerous because one false move can harm the person being rescued. If I had the ability to see through opaque objects, I would make myself present in these situations, and use my unusual ability to guide the evacuation process and make sure everyone got rescued. 

My ability to see through opaqueness would also help in saving lives in hospitals. Take the example of situations that call for X-rays. It might seem like a normal and widespread practice, but there are people in some parts of the world who are not able have access to or afford to have X-rays carried out on them. As a result, their doctors sometimes end up giving them the wrong medications. If I had the ability to see through opaque objects, I would be able to locate any foreign matter in the human body, as well as any tumors, report them in good time, and save the life of the patient. People’s lives would thus not have to depend on the deepness of their pockets. 

If I had the ability to see through opaque objects, I would also be able to assist in police investigations and missions. Police often get caught up in crossfire and some of them lose their lives. The reason for this is that they have to act on pure instinct since they are not able to locate their hiding adversaries and get caught unprepared. If I could see through walls, I would be able to correctly advise the police on how they should best approach their targets, hence reducing casualties in the process. People would feel much safer in these tense situations since the police would have my talent to help them and enable them to carry out their duties more effectively. 

The ability to see through opaque objects would definitely be a helpful superpower. A lot of situations would be handled better if there were a person giving the right advice and assistance. This superpower would enable me to see through debris during rescue missions and ensure that rescue operations for people trapped under rubble are performed in a manner that maximizes their safety. I would also use the superpower to replace X-rays in hospitals, thus helping patients save on the amount of money they use for their treatment. Additionally, I would use my power to assist the police in their day-to-day duties, thus making the world a much safer place.

If you could have one superpower, what would it be?

This is the title and framing of the 2016 Bill and Melinda Gates letter. The letter is an annual outline of their Foundation’s priorities and mission for the year.

This year’s frame came out of a discussion the philanthropic power couple had with high school students in Kentucky. A student asked the two: “If you could have one superpower, what would it be?”

According to their letter , their response was “More time!” and “More Energy!”

The introduction to this year’s letter tells a story of how these energies made them think bigger than just their own lives. They said the responses were “immediately familiar to other parents.” But that “they mean one thing in rich countries and something else entirely when looked at through the eyes of the world’s poorest families.”

It was in an effort to see the answer’s through the eyes of the world’s poor that the Gates wrote two heartfelt sections of the letter.

Bill took on “More Energy.” “Without access to energy, the poor are stuck in the dark denied all of these benefits and opportunities that come with power,” he wrote.  

He focused on how energy can be the key to alleviating poverty as well as the responsibility to consume energy responsibly to protect the planet. One great aspect was his explainer on how much money is spent on energy research versus oil. Spoiler: the closing fact is impressive.

His summation is powerful and clear: “Á cheap, clean source of energy would change everything.” A superpower indeed.

Melinda Gates took on the topic of “More Time.” A focal point for this section is the time spent on household chores by women. Acknowledging that “most girls don’t think they will be stuck with the same rules that kept their grandmothers in the home,” Melinda counters with some cold hard truths. “I’m sorry to say this, but if you think that, you’re wrong. Unless things change, girls today will spend hundreds of thousands more hours than boys doing unpaid work simply because society assumes it’s their responsibility.”

The facts are on Melinda’s side. Her video breaks down the concept of “Time Poverty” and just how damaging it can be.

Bill and Melinda have picked the two superpowers they believe the world needs.The video at the top takes a look at another superpower: Education. What superpower would you want to save the world?

If you could have a superpower, what would it be and why?

If I could have a superpower, I would choose teleportation. Even though there are many other fascinating superpowers, I believe that teleportation would be the most helpful and useful superpower.

One benefit of being able to teleport is that I won’t be late. I am often late to appointments or classes. Sometimes it is due to the traffic, while other times it is just because I am lazy. However, with teleportation, I would never be late; I could simply teleport 5 minutes before class, or even exactly when class starts. In less than a second, I would teleport from my bed to the classroom. This would also save me a lot of time. I wouldn’t have to waste my time in the car; I could stay more productive and efficient.

If I had teleportation, I could also travel to various places. I usually enjoy traveling and relaxing. However, this process often requires a lot of effort: booking tickets, finding hotels, and even going to the destination. But, by having the power of teleportation, these processes could be removed. I could travel all around the world whenever I want and take more time enjoying the experience than wasting my time on certain procedures; traveling would be done much more efficiently than before.

Finally, I could avoid risks and dangers with teleportation. Since I would be able to instantly change my location, I could also easily avoid danger by simply leaving the place. For instance, if I was in danger, I could easily (다시쓰기)

If I Could Have a Superpower

We have all read comic books about superpowers and dreamt of having one. If you found a magic oil lamp, like Aladdin, and a genie offered you one wish to have a superpower; what would you choose?

 Would you like to be Superman or Spiderman? I think the best superpower one can have is the ability to become invisible. Imagine you are sitting in class waiting for the History period and all of a sudden you realize that you have forgotten to complete your homework. Won’t it be fun to make yourself invisible and have a laugh while your friends are punished by the teacher! And think of this; your school is playing the finals of a cricket tournament and you require one run on the last ball to win the match. Your batsman hits the ball but it’s going straight to a fielder close by. You can invisibly push the ball further away ensuring they get a run and win the match.

I am having so much fun imagining the possibilities now! Spilling the glass of milk so that my sister gets scolded, finishing the yummy cake without my mother finding out, hiding my grandfather’s reading glasses, playing video games on my father’s laptop when he goes out of the room: this is so much fun!

Oops! I better finish quickly before my mother comes and reads this because if my dream comes true and I get the superpower to become invisible, it won’t remain my secret anymore!
