Obscene video clippings and some other versions of immoral entertainment are now available in mobiles. Therefore, the students have now tremendous fascination for the mobiles. Consequently, instead of studying, concentrate on using mobiles for sheer fun.

Another demerit is that because of the excessive use of the mobiles different companies plunge themselves into doing profitable business. Consequently, numerous towers have been erected for the network of mobiles. It is well known that a particular wave which is responsible for the mobile network does harm to the ecological balance of the environment. It is evident in the pale colors of the trees and fruits adjacent to the mobile towers.

Thus, it is the time to be conscious of the abuse of the mobiles. The concerned authority should take immediate steps to stop immoral business which is proliferating in abusing mobiles. All should remember that the sole purpose of mobile is to communicate. Entertainment may be available in the network of mobiles. But there should be no immoral design. Above all, the government should restrict the use of mobiles, so much so that anti-social activities may not be done through mobiles.

To better understand Americans’ smartphone and broadband adoption, Pew Research Center surveyed 5,733 U.S. adults from May 19 to Sept. 5, 2023. Ipsos conducted this National Public Opinion Reference Survey (NPORS) for the Center using address-based sampling and a multimode protocol that included both web and mail. This way nearly all U.S. adults have a chance of selection. The survey is weighted to be representative of the U.S. adult population by gender, race and ethnicity, education and other categories.

वर्तमान वैज्ञानिक युग में मोबाइल के प्रभाव से शायद ही कोई व्यक्ति बचा हो। आज हर व्यक्ति की जेब में या हाथ में मोबाइल फोन दिखाई पड़ता है। मोबाइल फोन हमारे जीवन की आवश्यकता बनकर रह गया हैं इसके बिना जीवन सूना-सूना प्रतीत होता है। यह विज्ञान की एक चमत्कारी देन है। इसके नित्य नए-नए रूप बाजार में दिखाई दे रहे हैं। अब इस फोन में कैमरा भी लग गया है। इसमें बोलने वाले का चित्र भी आ जाता है। यह मोबाइल फोन सम्पति भी है और विपति भी। हर चीज के दो रूप होते हैं-सुखद और दुःखद।

मोबाइल का सुखद रूप यह है कि इसे कहीं भी, कभी भी आसानी से ले जाया जा सकता है। इसे जेब में रखा जा सकता है अथवा हाथ में पकड़ा जा सकता है। अब फोन सुनने या करने के लिए कहीं बैठकर समय बर्बाद करने की आवश्यकता नहीं है। आपका फोन आपकी जेब में हाजिर रहता है। इसका सर्वाधिक लाभ व्यापारी वर्ग के साथ-साथ दैनिक कात करने वालों मजदूरों को है। व्यापारियों का आधे से अधिक काम मोबाइल पर ही हो जाता है। अब उन्हें कहीं जाने की आवश्यकता ही नहीं रहती। व्यापारी के लिए एक-एक मिन्ट की कीमत होती है।

श्रमिक वर्ग अर्थात् छोटे-छोटे कामगार जैसे-राजमिस्त्री, पेंटर, प्लबंर, बढ़ई के पास जाने की और उन्हें ढूँढने की जरूरत नहीं रह गई है। अब उनके पास मोबाइल है। उन्हें फोन कीजिए, वे तुरंत हाजिर हो जाते हैं। आपका समय और श्रम बचता है, उन्हें काम मिलता हैं। उनके रोजगार के अवसर बढ़ गए हैं। अब उन्हें घर बैठे ही बुला लिया जाता है।

मोबाइल फोन के जरिए आप हर समय शेष दुनिया से जुड़े रहते हैं। आप देश के किसी भी हिस्से में है या विदेश में हैं। मोबाइल का बटन दबाते ही सारा हाल आपको ज्ञात हो जाता है। है न कमाल। मोबाइल मंे काॅलों का रिकार्ड दर्ज रहता है अतः इसकी सहायता से अपराधियों का पकड़ना आसान हो गया है। अब तो कोर्ट द्वारा भी इसमें दर्ज बातचीत को मान्यता दे दी गई है।

मोबाइल के कुछ दुःखद रूप भी हैं। इसका दुरूपयोग अश्लील और अभद्र ैडै भेजने में हो रहा है। अनचाही काॅलेें लोगों का समय बर्बाद करती हैं। इसका अत्यधिक प्रयोग कानों पर बुरा असर डाल रहा है। लोगों के लिए अब यह फैंशन बनता जा रहा है। इसका अधिक प्रयोग उनकी कार्यक्षमता को घटा रहा है।
