How to Submit IGNOU Assignment for TEE June & Dec 2024?

IGNOU Assignment Submission Methods 2024 – As per the regular schedule of the IGNOU Assignment submission, the university going to accept the IGNOU Assignment for the Term-end examination June 2024 till 15th May 2024 so the students can submit their assignments latest by 15th May 2024 to get eligible to appear in the upcoming TEE June 2024 . It is also noted that the given last date is subject to change or extension that should not be treated as the final date of submission.

The university may extend the assignment submission date so candidates have to wait for the official announcement from IGNOU after they missed the due date. The students now can also submit their assignments online if they are not able to visit their respective centers.

So, now there are three different ways how the students can submit the assignments based on their convenience.

• IGNOU Assignment 2023 (Last Date)
• IGNOU Assignment Status 2023 (UPDATED)
• IGNOU Project 2023 (Online Submission)

Through Offline Mode

This is the usual way through which the students usually submit the assignments. The students have to finish answering the questions of the assignments and then submit them to the study center. While preparing the assignments, you should make sure that the very first page of the assignment should have all the necessary details.

• The name of the student
• Enrolment number
• Program and Code code
• Name, Code, and address of the study center where you are submitting the assignment
• Mobile number and email address of the student
• IGNOU Assignment Front Page (PDF)
• IGNOU Study Centre List

If you are submitting the assignments directly through offline mode, the person at the study center will offer you a receipt that you need to keep safe till the result is not declared.

Through Online Mode

For students who are not able to visit the study center to submit the assignments can also submit them online now by following any of these two methods. It is noted that both of the methods are subject to availability at the respective regional centre.

Google Form

The very first method is that of Google Forms. The students can visit the respective regional portals of IGNOU and then submit the assignments. You can follow the below steps for the successful submission of assignments through Google Form.

Step – 1 – First of all, have a look on the list of IGNOU Regional Centres at the Official Website of IGNOU and go to your RC website.

Step – 2 – On the homepage of RC’s official page, go to the section of News and Events.

Step – 3 – You should get the option of Assignment Guidelines or Assignment Submission on which you have to click.

Step – 4 – As you click on the link, the Google form will get open in the browser.

Step – 5 – Now now start filling the form with proper details such as your name, enrolment number, subject code, and others.

Step – 6 – Carefully upload the scanned copy of your assignment and submit the form.

Instructions to Follow

While you are submitting the assignments through Google Form, make sure that you follow these important instructions.

• You have to fill a new form for each subject.
• Make sure that you are uploading the assignment files correctly.
• You need to scan the handwritten copies of the assignments and upload them.
• The scanned copy of assignments should not be more than 100MB.
• You should only submit the PDF format of the scanned copy.
• Though you will be entering the basic details in the Google Form, it is also a great idea to mention the same details on your assignment copy also.
• The option of submitting the assignments through Google Forms will be available only when the quota of email submission is over.

Through Email Address

Though IGNOU has started the option of submitting the assignments through Google Forms, it will be not available in all the regional centers. The option of Google Forms will be only applicable if the email quota of a regional center is over and they are not more able to receive assignment emails from the students.

Here is the method that you need to follow to submit your assignments through email.

Step – 1 – Mention all the important details on the front page of your assignment that you would do in the case of offline submissions such as name, subject name and code, program and course code, study center name and code, contact details, and others.

Step – 2 – Scan your handwritten assignment copy and get it in PDF format. Each subject assignment should be in each PDF copy.

Step – 3 – Find out the email address of your regional center from Google in the same way how you search for the regional center portal link.

Step – 4 – In the body of the email, provide all the details in a listicle format that you have mentioned on the front page of your assignments.

Step – 5 – Now attach the PDF formats of your assignments and send the email to the respective regional center email address.

After you have sent the email, you should receive an acknowledgment. It may take a few hours to get this acknowledgment email. But if you have still not received it, you should check whether the regional portal has shared the link for Google Forms or not and should upload the assignments there too.

It is also noted that the many of the regional centre of IGNOU is not sending any confirmation or acknowledgment after the submission of IGNOU Assignments so you don’t need to worry about it instead of keep checking the status of your assignments to get the result.

Steps to submit the assignments online

Students who want to submit the assignment are requested to write the assignment as per the guidelines. The assignment should not be typed. Now, scan the handwritten assignment. Submit it to the given email address. The Email ID to keep in mind id [email protected].

Step 2: Scan the handwritten assignment

Step 3: Mail the scanned copy to the given address. The Email ID to keep in mind id [email protected].

"The date for submission of assignment at the Learner Support Centre (LSC) has been extended to 30th April 2020. However, as an interim arrangement during the lockdown period due to COVID-19, learners of Regional Centre, Noida who shall be appearing in TEE June 2020 may submit their scanned hand-written assignments to RC Noida mail ID [email protected] till lockdown is lifted," the Noida Regional Centre of IGNOU has said.

Assignments carry 30% weightage out of the total marks. Only after the submission of assignments, candidates will be able to fill and submit the forms for June term end exam.

IGNOU TEE June 2020 exam form and assignment submission date has been extended till July 15. Candidates can apply online through the official site of IGNOU at ignou.ac.in.

Indira Gandhi National Open University has extended the last date for submission of exam form and assignment for IGNOU TEE June 2020. The last date to submit is till July 15, 2020. Candidates appearing for Term End Examination can apply for the assignment and exam form through the official site of IGNOU at ignou.ac.in.

Earlier, the submission of exam form, assignments, projects, and internships in the server was till June 30, 2020, which has now been extended, as per the official notice . Students can submit the exam form for the term-end examination without late fees till the new last date given.

The IGNOU TEE June 2020 examination dates have not been released yet. Every year the examination is conducted in June. This year the examination has been postponed due to the COVID19 outbreak.

A month ago some media reports suggested that the new schedule of examination would be announced by the University about 15 days before the commencement of the exam. As many as 7.5 lakh candidates were expected to appear for the IGNOU TEE June 2020 examinations. For more related details, candidates can visit the official site of IGNOU .

They are usually submitted at the end of each semester before the conduct of the Term End Examination (TEE) which is held twice a year. While IGNOU assignments can be submitted offline as well, lakhs of students find submitting assignments online more convenient. However, online submissions can be time-consuming and lead to non-updation of marks if done incorrectly. Submitting the IGNOU assignments online properly will ensure that students are evaluated properly for each semester and are also eligible to appear for the upcoming TEE. To submit the IGNOU assignment 2024 online using IGNOU’s official website, you can follow these steps:

• Visit the official website of IGNOU: ignou.ac.in
• Click on the 'Student Zone' link in the top menu.
• The student must log in with their enrollment number and password.
• Click on the 'Assignments' tab.
• Click on the 'Submit Assignment' link.
• Select the assignment code and session for which you want to submit the assignment.
• Upload a scanned copy of your assignment in PDF format.
• Click on the 'Submit' button.

Submit IGNOU Assignments Through Google Form

Below are the steps that students can follow if they wish to submit IGNOU assignments online through the Google form link:

• Click on the link provided dedicated to your regional centre, and it will automatically open in your default browser.
• Fill in all the required information correctly, such as Name, enrollment number, subject code, subject name, course name, course year, section, etc.
• Upload your assignment in PDF format.
• After uploading, check all the details once again.
• After checking, click on submit 
• If you want a copy of the response, click on the 'send a response on the mail' option if available.

Submit IGNOU Assignments through Email (If Available)

Students also have the option to submit their assignments through email, but this option is not available for all assignments. It depends on the faculty and how they want their assignments. Hence, one must make sure that submitting IGNOU assignments through email is an option and that they have the correct email ID.

Below are the points to remember before submitting IGNOU assignment online. Students must follow all the points to avoid rejection of their assignment.

• IGNOU only accepts handwritten assignments; no typed assignments are allowed.
• The document should be in the form of a PDF.
• The scanned document should be clearly visible, avoiding submitting blurry images. If students submit blurred PDF files, they might lose marks.
• The maximum size of the document should not exceed 100 MB.
• The file should be saved under your name. 
• Don't submit the assignment more than once. 
• If the student has submitted a hard copy to the institution, then online submission is not required.
• If you are facing any issues while submitting the assignment online, students can also submit a hard copy IGNOU assignment offline at the institution.
• While submitting the assignment, enter only your email ID. 
• Students should only submit their assignments and not any other project.
• Students should avoid locked PDFs i.e. without any password. If the file is locked or protected with the password, it will be rejected. 

How Many Times Can You Submit IGNOU Assignments in a Year? 

There are two systems of programs at IGNOU: semester and year. If you are taking exams twice a year, like for courses like BCA, MCA, MBA, B.Com, and M.Co, then you are in a semester program. On the other hand, if you appear in exams only once a year, then you are in an annual program. So, if your course is annual, you must submit assignments once a year, and if your program is semester-based, you must submit assignments twice a year. You must log into your admissions portal to know if your program is full-year or half-year. 

IGNOU will always mention the deadline by which sstudents should submit their assignments. In general, the deadline is April for the June session and October for the December TEE. Students should check the IGNOU website for the latest information on assignment submission deadlines.

The following are the criteria on which assignments are evaluated by the faculties. Students must follow all the criteria to achieve high marks in the assignments submitted online or offline.

• Content: The faculty will assess the content of the assignment to ensure that it is accurate, comprehensive, and relevant to the topic of the assignment.
• Structure: The faculty will assess the structure of the assignment to ensure that it is well-organized and easy to follow.
• Grammar and spelling: The tutor will assess the grammar and spelling of the assignment to ensure that it is free of errors.
• Presentation: The faculty will assess the presentation of the assignment to ensure that it is neat and well-formatted.
• Originality: The faculty will check the originality of the assignment to ensure that it is not plagiarized.

IGNOU Assignment Can Be Submitted Online

Ignou: the last date for submission of assignments is april 30 for those candidates who will be appearing for the june term end exam..

Indira Gandhi National Open University ( IGNOU ) has asked students to submit their assignments online. This decision has been taken by IGNOU in view of the lockdown that has been imposed to contain the spread of COVID-19.

"In view of the complete lockdown to combat the COVID-19 pandemic, the University has decided to facilitate assignment submission by learners through email. Learners can submit scanned copies of handwritten assignments through email to the respective RC email," said Rajesh Sharma, CPRO, IGNOU.

"The Regional Centres will accept scanned copies of handwritten assignments through a dedicated email id and take care for further process of evaluation," he also said.

Regional Director of the Noida Regional Centre, IGNOU , has shared a message on social media, in connection to this. 

The last date for submission of IGNOU June assignments is April 30 for those candidates who will be appearing for the June term end exam.

For the convenience of students we have developed an email address on which students can submit their handwritten assignments, said Regional Director, IGNOU Regional Centre, Noida.

"The date for submission of assignment at the Learner Support Centre (LSC) has been extended to 30th April 2020. However, as an interim arrangement during the lockdown period due to COVID-19, learners of Regional Centre, Noida who shall be appearing in TEE June 2020 may submit their scanned hand-written assignments to RC Noida mail ID [email protected] till lockdown is lifted," the Noida Regional Centre of IGNOU has said.

How To Submit IGNOU Assignments Online?

• Write the assignment, following the guidelines given in the assignment list provided online on IGNOU website
• Assignment should not be typed on computer.
• Scan the handwritten assignment using mobile phones
• Submit the assignment on the email address provided by IGNOU

Assignments carry 30% weightage out of the total marks.

"A learner has to write assignment responses compulsorily before taking Term-End Examinations from time to time to complete an academic programme," said IGNOU.

Only after the submission of assignments, candidates will be able to fill and submit the forms for June term end exam. The last date for submission of exam forms is April 30 .

"Keeping in view the spread of coronavirus, the epidemic and complete lockdown throughout the country, with the approval of the competent authority the last date of accepting the June, 2020 Term-end examination forms without any late fee has been extended up to 30th April, 2020," the IGNOU said in a notification on March 25.

In view of Corona Virus Covid-19 Nation wise lockdown, IGNOU has decided to provide online Assignments Submission facility to its students from their home. Due to the Lockdown all regional centre activities were suspended in all IGNOU RCs. However, IGNOU assignments online Submission facility has taken burden from Many students who were worrying about submission of there assignments on time, However IGNOU also extended last date to submit IGNOU Assignments to 15 December 2020. But amid of nation wise lock down it was a tough task for IGNOU to collect all assignments and checking them on time and also Physical medium of assignment could have increased infection of corona virus. So, ignou is accepting all assignments by Online medium. You need to send soft copy of your assignment to IGNOU regional center’s mail id, Or on google form. in this article, you will know how to submit IGNOU assignments online. 

IGNOU Assignments Submission

IGNOU Assignments are an integral part of the curriculum, and every student must complete and submit them on time. IGNOU Assignment Weightage to Pass the Exam

Guidelines for IGNOU Assignment Submission Online 

IGNOU assignments can be submitted online through the IGNOU website. Students can also submit their assignments at their nearest IGNOU study centre.

Students will first need to register themselves on the IGNOU website to submit the assignments online. After registration, they will be required to log in with their username and password. Once logged in, they will be able to access the assignment submission portal. Here, they will need to select their programme and course code and upload their assignments in the prescribed format.

Students can also submit their assignments at their nearest IGNOU study centre or via email. They will need to take a printout of the assignment and submit it to the study centre along with the required documents. The study centre will then upload the assignment on behalf of the student.

• The Assignment should be scanned in ONE single pdf File for one Subject. i.e if there are 10 questions in one assignment, there should NOT be 10 separate pdf files of these 10 answers. These should be scanned in ONE single pdf file for easy download at RC end.
• The file name of assignment should also contain course code, name and enrollment number of student. 
• The *first page of the pdf* of each Course must also carry the learner’s correct details
• You need to write your enrolment number and signature on all pages of your assignments.

Further Tips for Writing IGNOU Assignments

Here are a few tips that will help you write better IGNOU assignments:

• Read the instructions carefully before starting to work on the assignments. This will give you a clear idea of what is expected from you.
• Plan your time well and start working on the assignments as soon as they are received. This will give you enough time to understand the questions and prepare well for them.
• Make sure to answer all the questions. If you have missed out on any questions, include them in your assignment before submission.
• Take help from your friends or classmates if you are stuck on any question. However, make sure that you understand the concept yourself before moving on.
• Proofread your assignment carefully before submission to avoid any mistakes.
• Make sure to submit the assignments before the last date. Assignments submitted after the last date will not be considered for evaluation.

IGNOU’s all regional centers are accepting the assignments by E-mail. You need to find the Mail id of Your IGNOU Regional center and you would have got the message on your mobile phone as well regarding the submission of  your assignments and respective mail id also.

Note :- You need to send different E-mails or fill different google forms for different Subject. As shown in sample Mail

Also Some study centers are demanding your IGNOU ID Card scanned copy, so don’t forget to attach.

one subject assignment will be in one PDF file. Rename pdf file in the following pattern: Enrolmentno_Programmecode_course code.pdf

• Check your Registered E-mail ID or Mobile number for Your Concerned regional center message.

The message will contain assignment submission Mail id of your regional centre.

• Compose an E-mail with all the related information mentioned below.
• Attach the scanned PDF file and send to your concerned regional centre’s mail id or upload to google form.

IGNOU June TEE 2020: IGNOU to accept Assignments Online for the June Term-End Exam

Ignou has made provision for its students to submit their assignments online in order to be able to fill in the exam form..

The Regional Director said that the varsity has developed an email address on which the students will be able to submit their hand-written assignments. The email address for the submission of assignments has been developed keeping in mind the convenience of the students. The regional director wrote that though the date of submission of the assignments for the June term-end exam the Learner Support Centre (LSC) has been extended until 30th April 2020, the varsity has made an interim arrangement for the students. This allows the students appearing for IGNOU June TEE 2020 to be able to submit scanned copies of their hand-written assignments to the RC Noida email ID - [email protected] until the Government of India lifts the lockdown due to COVID-19 pandemic. The varsity has been conducting online classes for its students during the lockdown.

Students appearing for IGNOU June TEE 2020 must remember to adhere to the guidelines provided on the IGNOU website while writing their assignments.. The assignment should be and-written and not typed on computer and has to be scanned for it to be submitted to the email Id Provided. Assignments carry 30% weightage of the total marks for the IGNOU June Term End Exam 2020.
