Young hero, Kiran Abbavaram is doing back-to-back films in his career. His latest presentation is Sammathame which has hit the screens today. Let’s see how it is.

Krishna’s(Kiran Abbavaram) only aim in life is to get married to an orthodox girl who has the qualities of his mother. In this process, he meets Sanvi(Chandni Chowdary) who is a very modern city girl with broad-minded thoughts. Krishna falls in love with Sanvi but her ideologies keep coming in their relationship. The rest of the story is about how Krishna and Sanvi make peace with their ideologies and become a couple.

Plus Points:

The basic theme of the film looks interesting and has been set up well initially. A small-town guy falling for a city girl and how her broad-minded ideologies create issues is a common problem for youth and has been handled properly in the first half.

Kiran Abbavaram is neat as the guy who is fickle-minded and orthodox. His dialogue delivery is good and the way he emotes in key scenes with Chandni is decent. The chemistry between the lead pair is impressive.

Last but not the least, Chandni Chowdary is getting better with each passing film. She as the modern Hyderabadi girl emotes beautifully. Looks-wise too, she carries the traditional and western wear quite elegantly. She gets a good scope to perform and makes full use of it.

Minus Points:

The second half is the biggest issue for the film. After establishing the core point well in the first half, the director loses focus and does not handle the screenplay properly, and this is where the film goes down.

The major conflict point of the difference in ideologies is not elevated well in the second half. Why a modern girl falls for a guy who is so possessive is not showcased well. More scenes should have been canned to showcase what the heroine thinks in the first place.

The climax looks rushed and with just a small confrontation scene with his father, the hero realizes his mistake and this looks over the top. The drama and writing in the second half are weak and end the film on a dull note.

Technical Aspects:

The production values of the film are pretty decent. The music is good and Shekar Chandra has done a great job with the BGM. The dialogues are good and so was the camera work. The editing could have been crisp in the second half.

Coming to the director Gopinath Reddy, he has done a below-average job with the film. His story is neat and the point taken looks quite contemporary. But his treatment in the second half is not good. There is no strong drama and conflict between the lead pair for the audience to get connected. Everything happens on a very easy note and the film is ended without any proper justification.

On the whole, Sammathame is a half-baked romantic drama that has a good first half and breezy music. The basic point is good but the dull narration in the second half takes the film down. If you are the ones who like love stories, give this film a shot but there is nothing special that is showcased here.

“SR Kalyana Mandapam” established Kiran Abbavaram as a promising young actor. He has been playing small-town characters. “Sammathame” is his first film that is set in a big city. The trailer looked quite promising.

Let’s see whether Kiran leaves an impression with this latest rom-com.

Story: Krishna (Kiran Abbavaram), who works in a software company in Hyderabad, rejects Saanvi (Chandini) at pelli choopulu after knowing her first love experience in college. He doesn’t like the idea of his wife having a romantic past.

Saanvi forgets him, but he doesn’t. After many days, he approaches her and apologies for his rude behavior. They slowly begin dating.

Saanvi is a typical city-bred girl, whose attire, lifestyle, and thinking are modern. Krishna, who has the rinky-dink mindset, proposes to her and hopes to change her according to his ‘taste’.

Is it acceptable to Saanvi? Will she really fall for such a guy?

Artistes’ Performances: Kiran Abbavaram displayed so much ease and natural style in his acting in his previous films. Continuing the same, he plays the role of a small-town guy effortlessly.

Chandini Chowdary does a decent job. There is tiredness on her face, but she does manage it neatly. Goparaju Ramana shines again as the hero’s father. 

Saptagiri’s track is lousy. 

Technical Excellence: Sekhar Chandra’s music is fine and appeals to the class. BGM is also ok though not outstanding.

Sateesh Reddy’s cinematography is neat. The production design and overall look of the film are just okay.

Analysis “Sammathame” is a romantic drama that hinges on a wafer-thin plot. The crux of the film is that love should be unconditional, no man has the right to expect his wife to change her thinking as per his wishes or whims. Undoubtedly, the message is appreciable. But the narrative isn’t.

Until the last part, Kiran Abbavaram acts like an uncouth, denounces people who go to pubs, shames women who wear short dresses and slaps men and women instead of talking.

Kiran imagines in his dreams Chandini calling him a psycho. He indeed behaves in such a manner. Despite his chauvinistic and uncivilized attitude, heroine Chandini starts loving him. There is no proper reason to love him in the first place.

The romantic sequences are created for the purpose of humor and to show Kiran Abbavaram as a ‘moralistic’ guy. The writer-director has succeeded in some places and the entertainment is generated. But, beyond bits and pieces, it is a boring affair. First and foremost, no cultured people would connect with the hero’s characterization. 

The director’s intention is to show that no man should force any woman for anything. So, he might have shown the hero’s character as rude and uncivilized, but still, many issues lie with this characterization. Plus, young actors like Kiran Abbavaram should avoid making every film a one-man’s show. The film doesn’t have solid side characters. The entire story revolves around him. As the plot is pencil-thin, we feel bored when scenes repeat with the hero doing the same act.

Even the climax part feels rushed. On a whole the films of this type should run on subtle humor throughout. Lack of lighter moments in the second half put down the film on a whole. 

“Sammathame” is another disappointing fare due to the weak script and execution. Despite the good final message, the romantic drama and the humor in second half doesn’t engage us at all.

Bottom line: Not much acceptable

What's Behind

Kiran Abbavaram, Chandini Chowdhary's romantic entertainer Sammathame hit the screens on June 24, 2022. The film directed by Gopinath Reddy attracted all with the feel-good title. The romantic elements excited all and let us see whether Sammathame impressed viewers.

Story Review

Krishna (Kiran Abbavaram) since his childhood dreams of getting married and goes in search of a traditional girl of his liking. However he fails in his mission, and suddenly he meets Sanvi (Chandini Chowdhary), a modern girl with a modern outlook on life. Though he gets pulled towards her charms, her broad mindset and modern thoughts, act as a hindrance. Where their relationship leads should be found out watching Sammathame on screen.

Artists, Technicians Review

Director Gopinath Reddy tried to entertain viewers with a romantic flick. He started the story in a decent manner but within no time his screenplay and direction loses direction. Everything goes haywire with uneven narration and the preachy dialogues impacted the film in a big way. He failed to elevate the conflict angle and as it turned unidimensional, interest decreased. Everything turned out cliched with the passage of time and the cast just passed through the motions. After a point, the director ran out of ideas and the entire second half became a tedious watch.

Kiran Abbavaram who did mass roles most of the time tried a romantic and soft roles in this film. He tried his best and at times performed well. However, he has to work a lot on his expressions and emotions as he looked out of sync and failed to connect chords with the viewers. Chandini Chowdhary performed well and she looked on screen. Sapthagiri evoked a few laughs and others performed according to their characters.

Sekhar Chandra's music is good. The editing of Viplav Nyshadham could have been far better as the slow pace ended up testing the patience of the viewers. Production values are ok.

Kiran Abbavaram, Chandini Chowdhary's Sammathame directed by Gopinath Reddy was expected to entertain Genex movie lovers. But the director came up with a routine story and as he failed to execute his concept on screen due to his amateurish screenplay and silly direction, the film turned out to be a tedious watch bringing back memories of the 80s. Considering all these aspects, CJ goes with a 1.75 rating to Sammathame.

Sammathame review: Good intent can’t alone salvage this clumsy romance starring Kiran Abbavaram, Chandini Chowdary

First-time director Gopinath Reddy’s film emphasises the importance of mutual acceptance in a tale of two opposites

Krishna loses his zest for life at an early age after his mother's untimely demise. The loneliness makes him realise the importance of a female presence in a household and ever since, marriage remains Krishna’s only goal. He comes across a potential match Saanvi, a girl he’s instantly smitten by. What’s in store for these opposites?

Sammathame deals with the highs and lows in the relationship between a conservative small-town boy and an independent city-bred girl. Their worlds and expectations from one another are extremely contrasting. While he’s very possessive of his lady love, the latter believes in giving space to her partner. He sets many boundaries but all she wants is some air to breathe - could there be a common ground for the two?

Writer, director Gopinath Reddy chooses a pertinent issue among modern-day relationships as the core idea behind his first film - the absence of mutual acceptance. The intent is commendable for sure but what’s the use of telling a coming-of-age story when you don’t give enough time for the protagonist to transform? All it takes Krishna is one slap and a monologue to be a better version of himself.

Krishna has an unusual demand from his match - a girl who has never fallen in love before and has ‘preserved’ herself for marriage. He rejects Saanvi for the same reason when she mentions her ex. They bury the hatchet later and fall in love but the control freak in Krishna gets the better of him. Saanvi doesn’t call him out for his immaturity but over time, she loses her identity gradually just to be in his good books.

A bulk of Sammathame is about the guy passing unfair judgements about city-bred women. Why do filmmakers oversell smoking and drinking as tropes just to establish the idea of an independent woman? It’s even more ironic that a grandma and her granddaughter fight over a bottle of whisky early on. The storyteller exposes his own bias while trying to convey the cultural shock that a small-town boy Krishna experiences in a city.

The male gaze is very apparent in the way Gopinath writes his female lead. For a significant part of the film, the story projects Krishna as the victim in the relationship (when it had to be the other way round). The director takes his own sweet time to arrive at the film’s core conflict and stuffs his narrative with a series of pointless, stray incidents. The dialogues are amateurish at best.

Just because a father discusses the importance of a female presence in a household, a 12-13-year-old boy expresses his interest to marry a girl early and makes that his lifetime ambition. How and why would a writer come up with such an obnoxious sequence? It’s high time Telugu writers smell the coffee and move beyond the obsession of making marriage the sole motive of a character in a romance.

There’s more to life than romance and marriage and most filmmakers use the excuse of cinematic liberty to drive such far-fetched ideas and underestimate the audience’s intelligence. Sammathame’s storytelling is all over the place. The forced comedy track with Saptagiri halts the momentum and one experiences an emotional disconnect with most of the characters and situations.

Kiran Abbavaram needs to work a lot on his dialogue delivery if he aims to make progress as an actor. One can’t sell the same body language and casual acting to pull off every character. Chandini Chowdary looks like a dream in Sammathame though one can’t say the same about her character. None of the supporting roles makes a strong impact. Shekar Chandra’s music is passable.

Sammathame is a half-baked romance that explores the idea of mutual acceptance in films on a very superficial level. The writing and storytelling leave a lot to be desired while the performances aren’t impressive either. Avoidable.

After the debacle of ‘Sebastian PC 524’, Kiran Abbavaram has teamed up with first-time director Gopi for a romcom ‘Sammathame’. Chandini Chowdary is the female lead. Let’s check out what is in store for this romance laced with drama.

Plot: The only goal of Krishna (Kiran Abbavaram) since his childhood is to marry a ‘perfect’ girl of his dreams and love her post marriage. Krishna, who moves to Hyderabad for a job, meets an urban, trendy girl Shanvi (Chandini Chowdary). But Shanvi’s world is totally different to that of Krishna. Will Krishna be able to digest this? Will he transform her or would he be transformed?

Performances: Kiran Abbavaram easily fits the bill as an adamant guy who has fixed thoughts and opinions. While he performs well in the role, he struggles in dance moves. Chandini is alright. The role demands more from Chandini. Goparaju Ramana does a neat job as a middle-class father as expected. Sapthagiri is just alright though he couldn’t give his best.Rest of the characters (especially the heroine’s family) are merely present.

Technicalities : Newcomer director Gopinath chose an age-old point and weak conflict. He struggled with the pace and screenplay. Yet, he managed to deliver within limitations. Songs are a big letdown. A romantic film like Sammathame requires beautiful songs and well-picturised visuals which are clearly lagging. Editing could be better.

Kiran Abbavaram Comedy In Parts

Thumbs Down Weak Point Flat Elements Second Half

Analysis Love stories are done to death. But what makes every film unique and different is the treatment and conflict. Debutante director Gopinath’s Sammathame starts on a decent note by establishing the circumstances of Krishna’s early life and why his goal is to marry a girl of his wishes. Krishna doesn’t know what love is. He saves his love for his wife who wants to love after the marriage. But Krishna changes his mind after Shanvi’s entry and changes his opinion on love. It is not effective. This is where viewers expect better reasoning. It is quite strange that Shanvi has fallen so easily for a guy like Krishna who has anger issues and restricts the girl’s freedom. Modern, progressive women may not like Krishna’s orders, opinions, passing judgements and obstructing freedom. This puts off women largely. The pub scene seems to be inspired from the recent incident in Hyderabad and tries to fit into the story, but it doesn’t fit well.   The film’s first half is done at blitzkrieg speed which is refreshing to an extent. However, post-interval, the movie just oscillates on the same point – differences between the lead pair. The story doesn’t move, testing the patience of viewers. The comedy too worked only in parts. The subtle humour gives relief from this predictable story. There are only a few good moments in the film. Largely, the film is dominated by unwanted drama. The melodrama, especially in the second-half, is unwanted. Songs didn’t work which is a drawback. None of the songs are beautiful to watch on screen. Background music is also not impactful.

Sapthagiri and his assistant episodes look forced, though it has some connection to the end. Krishna’s friend Gouri episode could have been better. The beggars comedy – taking cue from Puri Jagan’s Pokiri – too didn’t click well. The second-half is loaded with the predictable scenes and stretched out episodes. Only towards the climax, the film gives some relief as it finally deals with the story. It ends with a message as expected. The message is not new either. Sammathame just succumbs to the second-half syndrome after a so-so first half. Barring comedy in portions, the film has nothing appealing. It lacks freshness. It’s an old wine in a new bottle.

Bottom line: Asammathame!

What’s it about?

The sole aim of Krishna (Kiran Abbavaram) in life is to get married as quickly as possible. Soon after settling in a job in Hyderabad, he attends a pelli choopulu. But he rejects the alliance when the girl Saanvi (Chandini) tells him how and why she broke up with her boyfriend in her college days.

Krishna is a pesky small towner who has old-fashioned ideas about marriage and girls. He wants his wife to be a woman with no past. Furthermore, he believes that his wife should listen to him, should not attend parties, and wear ‘proper and respectable’ dresses.

Saanvi is modern girl who does everything that he loathes in a woman. Such a woman should not encourage him again, but strangely, she pardons him when he apologizes and agrees to go on a date with him. Even during their dating, he lays certain conditions. Still, she finds him ‘interesting’ and love blossoms.

On the day of their engagement, Krishna comes to know something about Saanvi, and he ends their relationship there. What really happened? Will she really accept him again?

I felt uncomfortable watching many scenes in ‘Sammathame’ as they seemed to glorify the hero’s loutish behavior. Much later we realize that it is all part of the message of the movie. ‘Sammathame’ drives an appreciable message that love should be unconditional, and men should not expect their wives to change their behavior for them. While the point is interesting, the narrative has many problems.

‘Sammathame’ begins as a regular love story of two diverse people falling in love with each other. He hails from a village and has certain expectations about his life partner. He wants a ‘susheelavathi’. He meets a woman who is quite contrary to his expectations. The director has established a proper reason for why he fell for her. But when it comes to the female protagonist, logic, and reasoning go for a toss.

Why would a modern-thinking woman like Saanvi, played by Chandini, love a rude guy? Why does she want to be conditioned? So, the romantic scenes between them fail to connect with us.

The second half of the film further slips with silly comedy portions on Saptagiri. Luckily, it bounces back in the final moments. Though some scenes are funny, most of the romance is weak and unconvincing. As said earlier, the message and final moments are worth talking about.

Kiran Abbavaram and Chandini Chowdary have played their parts well. Among other actors, Goparaju Ramana is good. Music is not that effective. Other technical strengths are okay.

Bottom-line: ‘Sammathame’ has interesting points to talk about. But the half-baked narrative doesn’t salvage much.

Sammathame Movie Review: Kiran Abbavaram's emotional drama is let down by an imperfect script

Kiran Abbavaram's  Sammathame is a haphazardly mounted film that fails to appeal. The story, plot, screenplay, and characterisation are all sketchily crafted and the outcome is a boring and tedious affair. There is hardly anything that elevates the viewing experience. The film tells the story of Krishna (Kiran Abbavaram), who believes that a family will prosper only if there is a woman to look after the house. He wants to get married because his mother passed away while he was too young. In the process, he bumps into Saanvi (Chandini Chowdary) and ends up in a self-inflicted conflict. How he overcomes it is the essence of the film.

With an impressive star cast, Sammathame starts off with promise, but gradually the assurance crumbles. The story unfolds at a deliberate pace and the narration fails to build a solid set-up. The second-hour indulgences in a romance angle and the plot loses focus. Despite its shorter run time, the film seems bloated and it tests your patience. The narrative drags with forced drama and an unrealistic plot that is treated like a fantasy. Director Gopinath Reddy's story touches upon themes that are significant and critical, but it's a pity that the film doesn't make its point hard enough. The film fails to realise its potential because the screenplay is often contrived, convenient, and at times hopelessly idealistic. The characters lack depth and there is no chemistry between the lead pair, although they are attractive onscreen. The humour, injected by way of some witty lines as well as the situational comedy, doesn’t work as the writing lacks gravitas. Krishna is shown as an unblemished character, who expects his future wife to not have any relationships in the past. That’s not all, he gives morality lessons, rattles gyan about behaviour and dressing style. But he cannot fathom that others should also have the freedom to live life on their own terms. Despite his bizarre behaviour, Saanvi begins to love him. And how? The problem is the film’s sloppy handling of the very issue it claims to address. The director gets his lead pair right but doesn’t etch out any of the other character arcs convincingly. Even talented actors like Gopraju Ramana, Sapthagiri, and Siva Narayana can’t salvage this amateurishly crafted saga. The climax seems rushed and convenient and we're never fully satisfied with the resolution of the lead pair's issues. The songs integrate into the narrative, but the background score is underwhelming. Ultimately, the film is let down by an imperfect script and its inability to deliver solid entertainment. All we expected from Sammathame was a well-made emotional drama, but what we are left with is this mess of a moral science lesson.

Kiran Abbavaram is one of the best talented young actors who is carving a niche for himself in TFI. With back-to-back good films, now he is back with his latest film Sammathame which has hit the screens today. Let’s see how it is.

The plot revolves around a boy named Krishna (Kiran Abbavaram) whose only aim in life is to get married to a girl, similar to the qualities of his mother. In search of his life partner, he meets Sanvi(Chandni Chowdary) who is a typical modern girl with a broad mind. Surprisingly, Krishna falls in love with Sanvi. And then starts all the differences between them because of their different mindsets. The rest of the story is about how Krishna and Sanvi make peace with their ideologies and become a couple.

What’s Entertaining & What’s Boring:

Despite the wafer-thin storyline and a whole lot of flat elements, ‘Sammathame’ has a respectable climax. The ‘Pelli choopulu’ sequence that Krishna goes through before realizing that his heart is set on Saanvi makes room for humor. The first half is entertaining and engaging.

But director Gopinath Reddy has done a below-average job with the film. His story is neat, and the concept is very good but the handling went totally wrong in both halves.

The editing could have been crisp in the second half. The film also runs out of ideas and introduces an episode involving Sapthagiri and Mottai Rajendran that is more annoying than humorous.

Performance of Cast & Crew:

Kiran Abhavaram steals the show as usual with his next-door boy acting. Great applause to Chandini Chowdhary as she is getting better with each passing film. The production values stand as the biggest positive of the film. Shekar Chandra once again has done a great job with the good music as well as BGM. Camera work is up to the mark and the dialogues are decent and many of them are relatable to the present generation.

First Half & Second Half:

First Half runs very fast and showcases nothing more than the hero and heroine falling for each other. The second half is from the core plot. However, as the plot is pencil-thin, we feel bored when scenes repeat with the hero doing the same act. Even the climax part feels rushed.

Starring Kiran Abbavaram and Chandini Chowdary as the lead pair, a romantic drama titled, Sammathame under the direction of Gopinath Reddy has hit the silver screens today. Let’s analyse it

Story: A guy from a small town named Krishna( Kiran Abbavaram) crosses paths with an independent girl Shanvi( Chandini Chowdary) in a arranged marriage alliance. Though Krishna likes Shanvi at the first look itself, he does not get convinced with the sad breakup story of her’s. But eventually, he gets close to Shanvi’s behaviour and starts liking her. After rejecting Shanvi at the first meeting, how will Krishna approach and expres his love towards Shanvi? The conversation and cat fights between the lead pair, forms the crucial crux of the film.

Performances: Kiran Abbavaram and Chandini Chowdary are adorable on screen as the lead pair. Both of them fitted in the given roles and acted nicely in their respective roles. While Kiran is good in his small town natured guy role, Chandini did her purposeful key quite effectively.

Artists like Ramana, Appaji, Annapurna who did supporting roles are decent in their respective roles. Sapthagiri and a few other noted artists are okay in their supporting roles.

The chemistry between them is a major for the film. Both of them gave decent performance in a couple of emotional scenes between in the second half.

Technicalities: Music by Sekhar Chandra is one of the plus points for the movie. While all the songs are situational and passable on screen, his background score elevates the mood of the film nicely.

The photography work by Sateesh Reddy is good. On the other hand, editing work by Viplav is fine as he kept the runtime within the limits.

Production values for this tight budget movie are good.

Analysis: Director Gopinath Reddy’s core concept of making a rom-com entertainer incorporating youthful elements in it good. The way his designed the lead characters is also nice but his execution lacks a proper flow. After showcased the conflict point in the relationship in a decent manner in the first half, the second half proceedings fall flat with unwanted episodes which can be termed as major minus for the film.

To summerize, Sammathame is a typical boy-meets-girl kind of romantic tale that has a few fresh moments in the first half but the narrative in the second half with uneven proceedings come as the demerit for the film.

Verdict: Complicated romance!

Sammathame Movie Review : In the wake of his back-to-back hits Raaja Vaaru Raani Vaaram, SP Kalyana Mandapam, and Sebastian, Kiran Abbavaram’s new family drama film Sammathame looks fresh and promising while also looking like a typical family drama. It is also claimed that this is the first time filmmakers have attempted to make an Indian family romance drama.

A middle-class man, Krishna’s mother died when he was a child. He had a lot of issues to contend with. A woman should take care of him, so he intends to get married soon. Saanvi (Chandini Chowdary) is a woman he meets during the engagement process who is very different from Krishna. Krishna cares too much for Saanvi, which is a problem in their relationship.

Gopinath Reddy directed the film Sammathame, starring Kiran Abbavaram and Chandini Chowdary. Sateesh Reddy Masam was the director of photography, Shekar Chandra was the composer, and Kankanalal Praveena was the producer of this film.

Movie Verdict

This film, despite claims that Sammathame is a one-of-its-kind story, reveals itself to be nothing more than another love story within the first 10 minutes. The film’s climax, which was discussed in an interview and shown well on screen, was successful. First, there were some amusing scenes and a display of their affection for each other. In the midst of dealing with one’s emotions, one may feel as if something is lacking. While it’s great that the film offers a fresh perspective on romantic relationships, the director could have done more to emphasize the film’s central message. Krishna, Kiran Abbavaram’s previous roles as middle-class people allowed him to handle the role of Krishna with ease. However, Chandini’s character lacks depth and is flat as Saanvi. However, the other actors performed admirably in their roles. He makes a good point, but Gopinath Reddy’s writing lacks interest. While Sammathame is technically flawed, Sateesh Reddy Masam’s cinematography is only mediocre. The background score by Shekar Chandra, on the other hand, is excellent because it enhances the film’s mood. If you enjoy stories about love and family, you should check out Sammathame.

Sammathame Movie Review : Kiran Abbavaram has Popular with his back-to-back films like Raaja Vaaru Raani Vaaru, SP Kalyana Mandapam, and Sebastian now he came up with a family drama film called Sammathame, the teaser and trailer look promising and fresh as it seems like a regular family drama but makers have stated that they are telling a unique family romance drama that never been told in Indian cinema, well the film has released today June 24, 2022, and it’s been getting a positive response and let’s know whether the film is worth watching or not.

Krishna(Kiran Abbavaram) is a middle-class guy, when he was young his mother passed away he encountered a lot of obstacles as he believes that the house will be good if women look after him and he decide to get married as soon as possible and in the proceedings, he meets Saanvi(Chandini Chowdary) who is the complete opposite to Krishna eventually both fell love but the problem arises in the relationship is Krishna becomes over caring as Saanvi didn’t like, finally, will Krishna get married is the rest of the tale.

Movie Verdict

Like Sammathame makers have said that they are telling a unique story but you will realize that it is a regular love story within 10 min of the movie started, a middle-class guy meets a girl though she is completely opposite of him and he needs marriage and a girl need love these the template of the movie.

The first half went with some entertaining scenes and their love and later off shifted to emotions, while dealing with emotions you might feel something is missing, and what worked out in the film the climax like Kiran Abbavaram said about the climax during the interview and the climax nicely captured on the screen.

Addressing a unique perspective of relationships should be appreciated but it remains half-baked as it seems the director should write some strong scenes to convey the point.

Kiran Abbavaram as Krishna is good as middle-class characters are not new for him and Krishna’s character seems not so challenging for him as he effortlessly pulled it off, Chandini as Saanvi is just okay her character is also looked flat as we can not see any dimension in her character and rest of the characters are did their part well.

Gopinath Reddy’s point is good and but he partly engages you with his writing and the writing could have been better.

Technically Sammathame is not up to the mark and Sateesh Reddy Masam’s cinematography is just okay, Shekar Chandra’s music is good as it enhanced the movie mood with his background score.

Finally, Sammathame is one watchable and if you love family dramas and romantic films then you should give it a try.
